Tierra is a program management professional with extensive experience leading security-adjacent, stabilization, and governance programs in fragile and politically sensitive environments across East Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa. She has managed complex, multi-country initiatives, working closely with the U.S. Government and international donor partners. Known for navigating politically sensitive contexts, she coordinates multidisciplinary teams and delivers programs that strengthen institutions and support stability in challenging operating environments.
She holds a Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution and Certification in Global Human Development from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Global Politics from the American University of Rome. Tierra speaks English, Kiswahili, and Italian.
